How it started: My brother got me a Canon AE-1 for my 23rd birthday (2014). I used it for a few months. It soon became my paper weight. That was until that same brother came home with a developed roll of film. I was completely in awe of the quality of the photos. There was this nostalgic feeling that took me to my childhood. I remembered my mom coming home with hundreds of photos she developed. It was love at first roll. I have been on a journey since then to try out as many film cameras as I can. I spend my time with my family. We love going to thrift stores in search of any/every film camera available. The mechanics/engineering of how cameras work has been my newest interest. I have been known to take my cameras completely apart and attempt to put them back together. Maybe one day I’ll be good enough to repair them professionally.
