I started shooting film from a desire to change the way I approached photography, as grandiose as that sounds. I recognised myself slipping into thoughtless clicking and wanted to slow down, be more selective and mindful of which moments I chose to capture. I think obsession then followed - I’m now in love with the medium for it’s tactile nature, unpredictability and aesthetic qualities.
I work as a freelance filmmaker and have kept photography as my thing, free from briefs. I shoot things that interest and intrigue me (largely situational) and hope to share the way I view the world.
