James Alexander discovered his love for photography four years ago when he made a trip from California to New York, by car. James and his cousin weaved in and out of 16 states, filming and taking photographs on the way.
The trip inspired him to create a photo-book, which is a collection of Film Photography and writings based around lost love and depression. The book is called 'Take it Easy'. The book portrays photographs of real people he has met on the road in America, with their own very deep and personal stories.
James recently has found a love for shooting on Medium Format Film. With less exposures per roll it has taught James to shoot in a more methodical way with more discipline, taking notes along the way.
